  • TASTE OF THE TERRITORY: The Dinner In Group

    Friday, September 26, 2008 6:30 p.m. at the home of a member.   Couples and singles - all are welcome.   

    Come join us to celebrate the Oklahoma Centennial (1907-2007) - a little late!  The menu is planned using cookbooks and recipes from the rich cultural heritage of Oklahoma - the variety of Indian tribes, out laws, law men, oil men and cattle men.  Call or e-mail for more information.

  • OUT-TO-LUNCH BUNCH:
    Wednesday,  August 6, 2008  at the Pizza by Stout, 2101 S. Rangeline, Joplin .  We will meet there at 11:00 a.m.

  • BUNCO:   

Friday, August 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the home of a member.
Bring $3.00 and a covered dish.  A potluck lunch will be shared at 11:30 p.m.  Play will begin at 12:30 p.m.  Those who wish to share lunch - please bring a dish to share and $3.  Those who choose only to play bunco can join the group with their $3 at 12:15 p.m.   E-mail for information and/or directions. 


  • FIRST FRIDAY BRIDGE:

    Group meets the first Friday of the month, 10:30 a.m.
    at  First Presbyterian Church, 5th and Pearl St.

  • SATURDAY EVENING BRIDGE:

  • CHICK FLICK:

    Group attends movies whenever interest merits. E-mail for information. 

    In August the group will meet on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the home of a member for an afternoon viewing of a rented movie.    The movie for this will be "Bonneville", staring Kathy Bates, Joan Allen and Jessica Lange.  Popcorn and drinks provided by the hostess.

  • PINOCLE:

    Friday, August 8, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. in a member's home.  Group has a brown bag lunch at 12:00 p.m. and then plays pinocle.  Hostess provides drinks and dessert.  Bring $2.  E-mail for information/directions.

  • Into to Mah Jong

         A group of ladies will meet on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. to form a group to play and/or learn to play.  Decisions will be made after the group forms about when and where.  This first intro meeting will be held in the home of a member.  Please call or e-mail for information and directions.
